International Relations

International Relations (IR) is the study of the interactions and relationships between countries and other political entities in the global arena. It encompasses a wide range of issues, including diplomacy, conflict, trade, international organizations, global governance, and the impact of non-state actors such as multinational corporations and non-governmental organizations. IR examines how states and other actors pursue their interests, manage cooperation and conflict, and influence global phenomena, such as security, environmental challenges, and human rights. This field integrates various disciplines, including political science, history, economics, and law, to analyze and understand the complexities of global interactions. Scholars and practitioners in international relations seek to explain patterns of behavior, forecast international trends, and provide frameworks for addressing global challenges.
